One of our favorite buildings in the downtown area, 1 Ecker is a brick & timber building (built in 1906) converted to condos in 2010. Units here rarely go on sale and to our delight, we had a client interested in making an offer on unit #406, an elegant junior 1 BR at 527 sf. Most recent sale for a junior bedroom here sold in August of 2013 for $588,000, unit #302. That unit was bigger by 14 sf but on a lower floor. Our client made a valiant attempt for unit #406 at $550,000 (asking $495,000). There were a total of 12 offers and a few of them went over $600,000. For a small space, this condo fetch a high price but you know what, this unit is so nice, it’s worth it.
