While the data is not specific to San Francisco, we feel that a gradual growth is on par for our City. That is good news for first time buyers.
Is this short article putting a good spin on October sales and drumming up the market for 2015? The San Francisco market begins the first week of January so we will know soon enough.
As Deborah and I gear up for the 2014 Fall Season, we want to thank our clients for an amazing year. Please check out our updated Sold page.
It was an incredible and shocking game as host Brazil lost in the Semifinals 7-1 to Germany. These 2 nations are powerhouses in the International soccer arena. We were at Leopold’s to capture the ending of the game as happy German fans are looking forward to Sunday’s final game for the 2014 World Cup.
Our listing here at 135 Red Rock Way #L207 (http://www.redrockl207.com) – we must say that it was sad to see it sold. Some listings you have a connection with and this little place was so inviting and peaceful. The seller did many upgrades and we received 5 offers. We are happy that the buyer is a very good guy and will enjoy living in it as much as the seller.
One of our favorite buildings in the downtown area, 1 Ecker is a brick & timber building (built in 1906) converted to condos in 2010. Units here rarely go on sale and to our delight, we had a client interested in making an offer on unit #406, an elegant junior 1 BR at 527 sf. Most recent sale for a junior bedroom here sold in August of 2013 for $588,000, unit #302. That unit was bigger by 14 sf but on a lower floor. Our client made a valiant attempt for unit #406 at $550,000 (asking $495,000). There were a total of 12 offers and a few of them went over $600,000. For a small space, this condo fetch a high price but you know what, this unit is so nice, it’s worth it.
Zephyr announced its 2014 first quarter awards and we were surprised to hear that our team is top with $15.5 Million in sales. Deborah and I want to thank our clients for the trust that they placed in us. We always feel grateful to be able to work in the San Francisco real estate market.
Remember the days of waiting to hail Taxis and expecting to get to your destination by the next day? Lyft and Uber has exploded in popularity but with the New Years Eve tragic accident by an Uber driver, Lyft has responded by adding more insurance. A way to look more favorably with the public and our Supervisors who is looking into more regulations.
